QUINTESSENCE HOTEL opened for the 2019-2020 season on November 4th with the addition of traditional English afternoon tea. Offered daily at 3:00 p.m., High Tea on the Terrace includes tea pastries, finger sandwiches, scones and premium teas, served on Q Hotel’s newly expanded patio, surrounded by lush gardens featuring a stunning ocean view.
Pastries, prepared by Chef Joyah Gumbs, include almond sugar cookies, banana chocolate muffins, lemon bars and dark chocolate brownies. Finger Sandwiches range from mint cucumber lavender, egg salad, quiche and smoked salmon cream cheese. Traditional and mandarin orange scones with clotted cream, lemon curd and jams also are presented, and special selections supplement the menu daily. Quintessence offers a wide variety of the finest organic teas from Malongo and Tea Forté, along with champagne and mimosas.
High Tea rounds out the luxury dining options at Q Hotel. JULIANS—A Tropical French Bistro features hand-selected favorites of Q Hotel Chefs Dominique Thevenet, Rodford Connor and Gumbs. Lunch and dinner are served daily, noon-3:00 pm and 6:00-10:00 pm.
