Quintessence Owner Geoffrey Fieger first discovered Hästens beds in the Swedish company’s Beverly Hills showroom. On a whim, he bought one for his home in Anguilla and soon realized Hästens’ claims — that they make the best beds in the world — are true.
“It is the greatest bed I’ve ever slept on,” Geoffrey says. “There really is a difference.”
When it came time to furnish his tropical grand mansion, Geoffrey knew every luxury suite needed a Hästens bed, complete with jaquard toppers and the finest Frette linens.
Hästens was founded in 1852 by master saddlers who also lent their upholstery talents to handcrafting matresses. The family business has perfected the art of mattress making over six generations, using only the purest flax, wool, cotton, slow-grown Swedish pine and hypoallergenic horsehair. Their iconic beds can be found everywhere from the the Swedish royal court, to the finest hotels around the world.
Every guest at Quintessence joins the elite ranks privileged to know the pleasures of a Hästens bed.
